I have a mobile home listed with a realtor, can i cancel?

December 102009

i have my mobile home listed with a mobile home realtor, and I want to cancel the contract to list with another agency. Will I have to pay a lot of money to do that? Anyone who knows realestate… please reply…

yes, but you will probably find that when you signed the contract you also agreed to pay a penelty fee if you cancle the listing.

If you look at your contract, you will probably discover that you made a commitment to that Realtor for 6 months.

You can cancel your contract at any time, but you should read it carefully. You will most likely still owe the agent a commission. I’d approach your agent and explain that you are thinking about switching. It might get them in gear and get them to sell that mobile home faster.
